In 2013, Global Gaming & Hospitality acquired the property and rebranded it as the Nugget Casino Resort. Marnell Gaming LLC subsequently purchased the resort in 2016 and initiated a comprehensive renovation project to modernize the facilities. The casino floor offers a variety of gaming options, including slot machines, table games, and a race and sports book. The resort’s convention center encompasses over 110,000 square feet of meeting space, making it one of the largest such facilities in Northern Nevada. The property also features an outdoor events center, multiple restaurants ranging from casual to fine dining, and a year-round atrium pool. The Nugget Casino Resort is situated in Victorian Square, serving as an anchor for downtown Sparks’ entertainment district.
